1. Who is selling, and who is not
This site is the official merchandise store of Università Telematica San Raffaele Roma, but it is not operated by the University.
The seller, and the buyer's sole contractual counterparty, is:

Maior Group S.r.l. produces, sells, invoices, ships, collects payment and handles customer service, returns and complaints. It operates under a licence of the trademarks of Università Telematica San Raffaele Roma.
Università Telematica San Raffaele Roma is the licensor of the trademarks reproduced on the products. The University is not a party to the contract of sale: it does not collect the price, does not ship the products and does not provide customer service. Any request, dispute or complaint relating to purchases made on this site must be addressed to Maior Group S.r.l. at store@maior-group.com.
2. Scope and acceptance
These General Terms and Conditions govern the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders for the products published on this site, and the rights and obligations arising from them.
By submitting an order you declare that you have read and fully accepted these Terms and that you have read the Privacy Policy. The Terms that apply are those published on the site at the time you submit your order: we recommend that you print or save a copy.
These Terms do not govern the sale of products or services other than those offered on this site, nor any relationship between the buyer and the University.
3. Registration and account
To purchase you may register an account, providing true, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, tell us immediately at store@maior-group.com.
Only natural persons of full age with legal capacity may purchase. Maior Group S.r.l. reserves the right to suspend or close accounts in the event of false information, fraudulent use or breach of these Terms.
4. Products
The store sells official University merchandise clothing and accessories: sweatshirts, t-shirts, cotton tote bags, thermal bottles and similar items. Many items are available in different sizes and colours: your selection must be made on the product page before adding the item to the cart.
The images and descriptions published on the site are intended to represent the product as faithfully as possible. Slight differences in shade remain possible, due to colour rendering on different screens and to the characteristics of natural fabrics: such differences do not constitute a lack of conformity.
Maior Group S.r.l. undertakes to supply products made in accordance with environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria, and warrants that the embroidery and prints applied to the garments are non-toxic.

5. Intellectual property and trademarks
The trademarks, logos, name and distinctive signs of Università Telematica San Raffaele Roma reproduced on the products and on the site belong to the University and are used by Maior Group S.r.l. under a licence agreement. Nothing in these Terms transfers any right in those signs to the buyer.
The contents of the site — text, images, photographs, graphics, layout and code — are protected by copyright and industrial property law. They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used for commercial purposes without written authorisation. Purchasing a product gives you ownership of the item, not the right to reproduce its distinctive signs.
6. Prices
All prices are in euro and include VAT. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are calculated and shown separately before you confirm your order.
Maior Group S.r.l. may change prices at any time: the price published at the time you submit your order applies. If, because of a material error, a product is displayed at a manifestly incorrect price, the order will not be accepted and you will be notified, with a full refund of any amount charged.
7. Formation of the contract
The publication of products on the site is an invitation to treat. The order you submit is a binding purchase proposal on your part.
After you submit your order you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail, which does not amount to acceptance. The contract is concluded when Maior Group S.r.l. notifies you by e-mail that the order has been accepted or taken in charge for shipping.
Maior Group S.r.l. may decline an order where the product is unavailable, the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, payment fails, fraud is suspected, or the quantities ordered are inconsistent with normal personal use. In such cases you will be notified and nothing will be charged; if an amount has already been charged, it will be refunded.
8. Product availability
The availability shown on the site is kept up to date but does not guarantee actual stock at the moment you order. If, after your order is submitted, a product turns out to be unavailable in whole or in part, you will be notified and refunded the amount corresponding to the unavailable products, at no further cost.
9. Payment methods
Payment may be made by credit card or through PayPal, via a qualified payment provider. No other payment method is accepted.
Card details are transmitted over an encrypted connection directly to the payment provider and are not stored by Maior Group S.r.l. Charges are made in accordance with the terms of the payment provider and of your card issuer.
The invoice or sales document is issued on the basis of the details you gave when ordering: once issued, those details cannot be changed.
10. Shipping, costs and delivery times
Shipments are entrusted to:
- SDA for deliveries within mainland Italy, with a stated delivery time of 1-3 working days;
- SDA for deliveries to Sicily, Calabria and Sardinia, with a stated delivery time of 2-4 working days;
- UPS for deliveries abroad, with a stated delivery time of 2-6 working days.
These times run from the moment the carrier takes charge of the shipment and are estimates: they do not cover delays attributable to the carrier, to customs procedures or to force majeure. In any event, and unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within a maximum of thirty days from conclusion of the contract.
Shipping costs are calculated by weight bracket and by destination zone, according to the rate table applied by the store, and are shown in the cart before you confirm your order. The amount shown in the cart is final, and no further charge is made after delivery, save for any customs duties payable in countries where they apply.
No free shipping is offered, whatever the order value, and collection in store is not available.
Orders with a total weight above 100 kg cannot be shipped through the site. In that case, please split the order or write to us at store@maior-group.com.
We ship only to the countries selectable during checkout, namely Italy and the European countries served by the store. It is not possible to ship to countries other than those listed in the address form. We do not deliver to post office boxes.
On delivery, check that the packaging is intact. If it is damaged or has been tampered with, accept the goods with a written reservation on the carrier's document and report it to us within a few days at store@maior-group.com: without that reservation, a claim against the carrier becomes considerably harder.
11. Right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, that is for purposes outside your trade or profession, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, receive the products, without giving any reason and without any penalty.
11.1 How to exercise it
The simplest way is to fill in the online withdrawal form, also available in your account area in the section for your order: it guides you through choosing the products to return and records the date and time. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail without undue delay. Alternatively, you may send an explicit statement within that period to store@maior-group.com, quoting your order number and the products you wish to return; you may use the model withdrawal form provided by the Italian Consumer Code, but you are not obliged to.
11.2 Returning the products
You must send the products back within 14 days of notifying your withdrawal. Products must be returned intact, unused, unwashed, complete with every label and tag, and in their original packaging.

Always state, inside the parcel or on the transport document, your order number and the name of the buyer: without those details the return cannot be matched to your order and the refund takes longer.
The cost of returning the goods is borne by you. The return shipment travels at your risk until we receive it: we recommend using a tracked service.
11.3 Refund
Once we have received and checked the products, we will refund all payments received, including the standard delivery cost you paid, within 14 days, using the same means of payment used for the purchase and at no additional cost to you. If you had chosen a more expensive delivery option than the standard one, the extra cost is not refunded. We may withhold the refund until we receive the products or you supply evidence that you have sent them back.
If the returned products are damaged, used or missing their original tags, the refund may be reduced in proportion to the diminished value.
11.4 Exclusions
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases set out in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, including goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised at the customer's request.
12. Legal warranty of conformity and faulty products
All products are covered by the 24-month legal warranty of conformity from delivery, provided for consumers by Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code. The warranty covers lacks of conformity existing at the time of delivery; it does not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, washing contrary to the care label, or normal wear.
If you receive a faulty or non-conforming product, write to store@maior-group.com attaching your order number and photographs of the defect. Once the lack of conformity is established, the product is replaced entirely free of charge: you bear no cost, neither for returning the faulty product nor for shipping the replacement. If replacement is impossible or disproportionately costly, you are entitled to a price reduction or to termination of the contract with a refund, as provided by law.
This warranty is distinct from the right of withdrawal under section 11: withdrawal is a right you may exercise without giving a reason within 14 days, but with return shipping at your expense; the warranty applies where there is a defect, and costs you nothing.
13. Complaints and customer service
For any support request, information or complaint concerning an order, write to store@maior-group.com, quoting your order number. We reply as quickly as we can. Any complaint must be addressed to Maior Group S.r.l. and not to Università Telematica San Raffaele Roma.
14. Limitation of liability and force majeure
Maior Group S.r.l. is liable within the limits set by law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law, nor liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Maior Group S.r.l. is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by force majeure or by unforeseeable events beyond its control, such as strikes, measures taken by public authorities, natural disasters, or interruptions to networks or transport services. Nor is it liable for temporary interruptions of the site due to maintenance or technical causes.
15. Personal data
Personal data is processed by Maior Group S.r.l. as data controller, in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the site, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Any consent to the disclosure of your data to the University for the University's relationship purposes is separate, optional, and in no way a condition of purchase.
16. Record of the contract
Your order is archived by Maior Group S.r.l. in accordance with applicable law and remains available in your account area. You may request a copy at any time by writing to store@maior-group.com.
17. Changes to these Terms
Maior Group S.r.l. may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments apply to orders submitted after publication: your order is always governed by the version in force when you submitted it.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. More favourable mandatory provisions of the law of the consumer's country of habitual residence continue to apply.
For disputes with a consumer, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or elected domicile have exclusive jurisdiction. For disputes with a buyer not acting as a consumer, the Court of Vicenza has exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers resident in Europe may also use the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms provided for by applicable law. Before doing so, please contact us at store@maior-group.com: most problems are solved directly.
19. Prevailing version
These Terms are published in Italian and in English. In case of any discrepancy in interpretation between the two versions, the Italian version prevails.
20. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is held void or ineffective, the remaining clauses stay fully valid.
